Daily Vaper: SMY 75W Mini TC Box Mod Review

Kevin Krilla | Contributor

SMY’s Mini TC mod is capable of up to 75 watts of output, as well as a temperature control option. It is powered by a single 18650 battery. The diameter at the top of the mod is 23mm, so tanks of 22mm should sit flush atop this mod; we learn differently from the video review. The battery cover is magnetic and comes in the form of a U-shaped magnet slide. It comes in 5 different colors and patterns.

The video review of SMY’s Mini TC mod has some negative aspects to mention. The reviewer says it looks really nice and serves its purpose as being a very inexpensive mod, but has a few downsides that you need to be made aware of. First, the positives: it is solid, well built, and has no rattle. It also features a nice style and is inexpensive. On a negative note, while in TC mode, the specifications are not accurate to what it says on the display screen. Some adjusting will need to be applied. There is a little overhang with a 22mm tank atop it. A 22mm is one of the smallest tanks you will find, still it still doesn’t fit properly. There is a slight delay with the fire button and the wattages may not be accurate either. Although it looks like a trendy mod, keep in mind the few downsides that were demonstrated here. But for close to $20 bucks you may be able to live with some of the quirks.
