We reviewed Smok’s Skyhook RDTA Box Kit as a whole, but here we will be take more of an in depth look at the actual RDTA tank. The Skyhook RDTA is 24.5mm in diameter that holds up to 5ml of liquid. It can fire up to a whopping 260 watts. This RDTA tank features two outstanding designs. First, the deck is has a velocity-style post, and underneath it there are super large wicking slots for liquid feed capabilities. Second, there are two atomizer tubes included for the airflow channels of your choice. Bottom and middle airflow, bottom airflow, or middle airflow only. In addition, the Skyhook RDTA has an interchangeable deck for future upgrade possibilities.

The reviewer demonstrates the proper way to build and use the Skyhook RDTA atop your mod. After he installed the cotton and went to fill the tank with liquid, it kept overflowing. There was no space in the side-fill slot because the cotton was in the way of the hole. The only way to fill it was with a syringe. That was his major downside with this RDTA. As far as vaping quality, he says the airflow is tremendous. It is a great all around vape, he says. The flavor and vapor are above average. That said, he goes as far as stating that he doesn’t recommend this RDTA unless you use it as an RDA only.
