I have been waiting for a review of the IPV Velas 120W mod. Finally, we have one! I am a big fan of IPV vape mods. Every IPV device I have ever seen or touched has been extremely well built. They are all solid pieces of equipment. They are durable and easy to use. I still use an IPV mod as my everyday mod.
IPV’s Velas box mod has a maximum wattage potential of 120 watts and is capable of temperature control. It is powered by two 18650 batteries. The most fascinating aspect about this mod is the two 7-color LED strips that run down the length of both sides. When you press the fire button the strips light up in random colors. The mod comes in 6 different colors, including gun metal.
The video reviewer indicates the computer chip used in this mod, the YIHI SX410 chip, is very efficient. In fact, it is one of his favorite chips. He explains that 25mm in diameter tanks will fit on top of the IPV Velas. “It’s nice, it vapes great,” he adds. There is no rattle with the buttons or the battery ,and there is no delay with the fire button. It is a solid, durable mod, although it is lightweight for a 2-battery mod. We learn it is firmware upgradeable, which is always a plus.
