Reuleaux RX Mini: 4 Out Of 5 Stars

After the final death of my latest vaping pen, the Kanger Subvod by Kangertech, I decided to look for another option. I had owned two such pens and both stopped charging after 4 months of heavy use and they would badly leak causing damage to clothing.

I began looking into to other products and I came across the Reuleaux RX Mini. It was on sale at Wild Bill’s Tobacco and not only did they highly recommend it, the clerk was actively vaping with it as his choice while I was chatting with him.

I’ve been using the RX Mini for two months now and it has worked like a charm. I chose the silver model as colored models get scratched up very easily and start looking shabby in short order.

On the bottom of the device there are two adjustments; to turn the wattage up and down. It goes up to a maximum of 80 watts, but I have found that with my e-liquid of choice, V2 Red by V2, it was a bit high. At 70 watts I get a perfectly tasting and satisfying plume of vapor each time.

The device has a slightly elongated hexagon shape which can be slightly odd to grip unless one has a small hand and it isn’t a good fit for carrying around in the pocket.

The battery charges very quickly, but for me, needs to be charged 2/3 of the way through a day of moderate to heavy usage.

The price point of $45 is on par with other similar devices. It doesn’t leak and there is no need to dump out burnt and gelatinous oil on refill because you have the ability to adjust the wattage.

Overall, I give this mod a 4 out of 5 stars.
